Personal Injury Attorneys In New Jersey

The personal injury legal team at The Disability Guys Michael Kalmus Attorney at Law will take the time to understand everything about your case and determine if you should accept the initial settlement from the insurance company. We will use our experience and skills to take into account the long-lasting impact of the injury including emotional trauma, pain, etc. Following this, we will assess the extent of damage and decide if the initial settlement offered by the insurance company is fair for your complete physical and financial recovery.

If we feel that the initial compensation offered by the insurance company is not fair, we will seek compensation from the party that has caused the injury. To strengthen your claim, our best New Jersey personal injury attorneys will gather the supporting evidence. We will collaborate with experts to come up with an independent analysis of the accident.

Although we might not be able to eliminate the suffering, we are there to help our clients secure justice. Michael Kalmus Attorney at Law offers top-level legal representation and will work to ensure that you obtain the compensation you deserve. Get in touch with us today!

How Long Do I Have to File A Personal Injury Case?

The statute of limitations starts when an injury occurs. A person who was injured because of a personal injury accident should report the injury within two years after the incident occurs. However, if the person doesn't discover the injury until later, he/she has two years from the time of discovery to file a suit.  However, if someone is younger than 18 years old or suffers from a disability preventing him/her from doing something about the injury, then the statute of limitation does not begin until he/she reaches the age of 18 or is no longer disabled. If the responsible party leaves the State of New Jersey, the statute of limitations does not start running again.

What Damages Are Available For Personal Injury Claims?

Accidents cause serious injuries and can affect victims physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially. Victims should consult experienced New Jersey personal injury attorneys if they believe they were injured due to another person's negligence or misconduct.
